1. Check-in 🔑 Check-in is strictly 4pm local time to allow sufficient time for professional cleaning before each reservation. Early check-in must be explicitly approved by your Host and may require a $100 fee (as it impacts our cleaning schedule and costs). 2. Check-out 🔐 Check-out is strictly 10am local time to allow sufficient time for professional cleaning before each reservation. Late check-out must be explicitly approved by your Host and may require a $100 fee (as it impacts our cleaning schedule and costs). If Guests do not check-out on time, a $50 fee is applicable after check-out time has lapsed. If a Guest exceeds check-out time by 60 minutes or more, a $250 fee will be payable and this does not extend your booking. Check-out procedures will be detailed in our online guest book. 3. Check-out procedure: ✅ Guests must follow check-out procedures as follows: a. Replace all chairs, cushions, furnishings and equipment where originally located; b. Place all used dishes in the dishwasher and start a cycle using the provided dishwasher pods; c. Do not strip beds or bed linens or make beds. Unless you are staying more than a few days and need to change the sheets using the extra linen sets provided. In which case place the used sheets on the floor in the room or in front of the washing machine; d. Place all used towels on the bathroom floor or in the shower; e. Place all trash into provided garbage bags, seal them with tied knots and place all used garbage bags inside the two garbage bins located outside of the home; f. Turn off all lights and ceiling fans; g. Turn off appliances, arcade games, video game consoles, record players, TVs and A/C units (if applicable) h. In winter, set thermostats in each room to 55 degrees F (this is critical in winter to avoid water pipe damage in severe cold temperatures); i. Lock all rear doors from the inside. Then exit from the front door and lock the front door behind you when you leave, using our smart lock keypad; 4. Personal belongings and retrieval 🧳 The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest. After check-out is completed, if a personal belonging is left behind and needs to be retrieved by the Guest, a $50 service fee will be applicable to compensate for the cost of searching for the item(s) and collecting the item(s) and making them available for Guest retrieval. Any shipping costs will be the responsibility of the Guest. The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings through shipping. 5. Primary Guest must be part of rental party 🪪 The person booking the reservation must be part of the guest party staying in our home. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, this must be declared up front or the booking may be canceled at the Host’s discretion. 6. Strictly no parties and max occupancy 🚫🎉 Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the remaining booking without refund, a violation will be reported to booking platform authorities and if required, a police report filed to local law enforcement authorities. A party is defined as the number of guests exceeding max occupancy (6 people); or parked vehicles exceeding the max parking (3 vehicle); or discovery of undeclared guests (even if within max occupancy); or excessive noise and/or music. 7. Additional visitors 👯 People who are not part of the original Rental Party identified at time of booking, may not stay overnight at the property. If a Guest is inviting a visitor, the max occupancy must not be exceeded at any time, else this will be considered a Party. All visitors must be declared to the Host upfront even if the visitor is not staying overnight. Any unauthorized visitor on the property is the sole responsibility of the Primary Guest. If an unauthorized Guest is found, a $200/night fine will apply and the Primary Guest will be subject to the cancelation of the remaining days of the booking without a refund. 8. Parking 🚙 All vehicles must be parked onto the property driveway. A maximum of 3 vehicles are allowed on the property per stay. Parking on the curb or on the street is prohibited by our township and subject to fines. Guests will be responsible for any citations and fines for vehicles parked illegally. Exceeding the maximum number of vehicles will be considered a Party, which is strictly prohibited. Refer to the "Strictly no parties and max occupancy" section of this RENTAL RULES agreement. 9. Noise ordinance 🚫🎧 Our township has a strict noise ordinance that requires our guests to adhere to quiet time between 9pm and 7am every day of the week. Any reported noise complaints will result in a $500 fine plus costs of any police citations or fines if applicable. We care about our neighbors, please treat it with the same care as your own home. 10. No smoking 🚭 Absolutely no smoking of any kind is permitted inside the home, including but not limited to cigarettes, marijuana and vaping. If smoking is detected inside of the home a $500 cleaning fine will apply, payable by the Guest. If smoking outside, Guests are to dispose of their smoking butts in available garbage bins on the property. Littering outside on decks or surrounding grounds may be a fire hazard and will incur an additional $100 cleaning fee. 11. No fireworks 🚫🧨 Strictly no fireworks or pyrotechnics of any kind are permitted in our home or on our property grounds. Guests caught using fireworks will have the remaining booking canceled without a refund. Fireworks are not permitted in our township and carry significant fines and legal actions, which will be the responsibility of the Guest in the event of a violation or citation. 12. Children must be supervised 👶 Children are welcome on our family-friendly property but must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
